As you may be aware, the Greater Cambridgeshire Partnership has been developing proposals for the Greenways, which will provide 12 safe, convenient, and attractive active travel routes between Cambridge and its surrounding villages and communities.

They would like to update you on progress and seek your views on the design of the Comberton Greenway as public engagement on the route design starts in July. The route would provide safer and better connections between Comberton, Hardwick, Coton and the city for people walking, cycling and where appropriate equestrian use.

For the Comberton Greenway, they will be running two public engagement workshops:

  • In-person drop-in session: Friday 8th July at from 2 to 7pm at Comberton Village Hall
  • Virtual session:                                   Thursday 20th July on Zoom (registration required)

These workshops will give members of the public the opportunity to learn more about the project, ask the project team questions and provide their views.

They will also place information and a survey online for those who are unable to attend the workshops or for those who wish to provide more feedback, which can be return online, by phone or by requesting a paper copy. More information will be provided in due course online at: www.greatercambridge.org.uk/Comberton-GW-2022
