PLEASE don’t put them in the blue bin.
It’s OK to put them in waste (black) bins, including those waste bins around that have a black plastic bin bag.
The people who collect and empty our bins have asked us to put disposable face-masks and gloves into the Black waste bin NOT the Blue recyclable bin.
There has been an increased amount of disposable masks and gloves found in the blue bins which can cause issues at the recycling sorting facility as well as potentially putting staff at risk. These items cannot be recycled.
